Eleonore is in her forties and on the brink of exhaustion. Lately, she has been forgetful and has had speech issues. Thus, she compulsively writes down her memories on post-it notes and decides to consult a neurologist who proposes, as an experiment, a « technical aid », a sort of hybrid being, half-vegetal, half-human, to monitor her health. Eleonore refuses and her state worsens: her phrases are rambling, she loses track of conversations, of words, and finally completely stops talking. Her sister Maya, whom she hadn’t seen for years, decides to accept the neurologist’s proposal. The humanoid will translate Eleonore’s thoughts and will express them for her.
