[Our Innocence]
written and directed by Wajdi Mouawad
from 22 April to 10 May 2020 - Main Theater
Wednesday to Saturday at 8.30pm, Tuesday at 7.30pm and Sunday at 3.30pm
duration 2h15
A group of friends is confronted with the brutal death of one of their own, 20-year-old Victoire. Vacillating between the probability of a suicide and that of an accident, her friends are devastated and obsessed with the attitude they should have towards Victoire’s daughter, Alabama. No one could have imagined that this death would engender such a transformation within each of them, nor that it would compel them to reveal themselves, to each other and to themselves, as if, from death, life could blossom.
