What is left in people’s minds of the revolutionary men of year II? Blood. On which head does this popular belief concentrate upon? Robespierre. The 9^th and 10^th Thermidor of year II of the Republic marked his arrest and his death. Notre terreur questions and denounces this passing on, the d’ores et déjà Company interprets as censorship of the thermidorian reaction, the forging of the to-be-killed figure, the terrorist… Successfully created in autumn 2009, the production comes to La Colline again, never exactly the same, the Company constantly putting its work through the test of the stage.
