Tristesse animal noir

A group of bobos are going on a picnic in the forest: they make a barbecue and sleep out in the open. Suddenly the horror film begins: the forest catches fire – and the play is transformed into an indistinct stream of desperate voices. The last act tells how the survivors outlive the catastrophe. Anja Hilling is a young German writer. Her play has the implacable structure of a modern tragedy. This sudden apocalypse is a true challenge for a stage director, and Stanislas Nordey is eager to take it up.
